What a way to kick off our 2024 wedding season! Shannon and Ryan were married on the most beautiful spring day at The Red Barn at Outlook Farm in South Berwick, Maine.
Our day started with Shannon and Ryan at the Stage House Inn, just down the road from their venue. Shannon and her bridesmaids were a vision as they all got ready in matching pj’s while sipping on coffee and mimosas. Ryan and his groomsmen looked sharp in their tuxes as they got ready in a nearby room.
Shannon and Ryan‘s wedding day was truly timeless from start to finish at The Red Barn at Outlook Farm. Their first look took place in front of the Stage House Inn as the inn’s wrap around farmer’s porch served as a quintessential New England backdrop. Ryan’s smile (and tears!) seeing his beautiful bride didn’t leave his face the entire day. I have never seen a happier groom!
Shannon and Ryan wrote their own wedding vows and shared them in a beautiful ceremony at the Barn at Outlook Farm. There was not a dry eye in the crowd as Shannon and Ryan expressed their love for one another and their excitement about starting this next chapter in life. Shannon is a Swiftie so it was very fitting when their brother in law and officiant weaved Taylor Swift lyrics into their ceremony. This theme would continue as many of the speeches given later that night included song lyrics and references.
Both Shannon and Ryan‘s dads gave speeches before kicking off the night of dance and celebrating! As a photographer, it is always such a treat to learn more about the bride and groom throughout their wedding day. We truly feel like we got to know Shannon and Ryan through the many stories and the admiration their friends and family shared about them throughout day.
After catching the most beautiful sunset on the gold course that the barn overlooks, these two were ready to party! Shannon and Ryan kicked off the evening as their guests circled them on dance floor and Ryan put on an epic dance performance! These two had each and every guest out of their seat when Taylor Swift’s, You Belong with Me came on. I would say their sweet dance to this would have made Taylor proud as these two clearly belong together!
Shannon and Ryan’s love for each other is one of those relationships that makes you feel happy being around the two of them! I know this is just the beginning of a beautiful life for these two. It was such an honor to capture their wedding day! Congratulations to one of the most timeless and sweetest couples!
