I first met Kim and Chase over Zoom a month ago, so I was SUPER excited to finally meet them in person. We met on a beautiful chilly October evening with overcast skies at Great Island Commons, and not many people were there! We almost had the whole beach to ourselves! I first met their family, and their sweet dog Cisco, then we walked around the sand and the beach grass sharing stories and laughs.

Chase and Kim met at a spin class! Kim was a spin instructor at their company gym. Chase went to one of her classes and they became friends. Then one day Chase heard that Kim was possibly looking for a different position, outside of the company! He wanted her to stay! He told her that there was an opening in his department and he could help her with her resume. Their relationship grew so much closer during that time. They began working out together daily at their company gym. One day Kim finally gave Chase her number in hopes that he would call her. She waited and waited. That night he texted her a photo of his dinner and said “guess who?”.

Kim grew up visiting her aunt on Nantucket and she still visits there often. She told me it is one of her favorite places! When Kim and Chase were dating she took him out to visit Nantucket. Their first date was on a Nantucket beach where they sat down with a picnic and ate pizza and drank beer. This date was recreated by Chase for the proposal. Same pizza and same beer. So sweet!

Their first day trip together was to Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, NH. There they shared a picnic dinner together on the rock beach watching the waves crash in. How fitting is it that The Seacoast Science Center is where they have chosen to get married!? I am so excited to be back on the seacoast with them next year to celebrate their wedding!
