We could not have asked for a more perfect day for a beach session! This beautiful early August day wasn’t too hot and the sun was showing off. I loved finally getting to meet Michelle and Austin at Great Island Commons and walking along the beach and rocks getting to know them better.
Austin and Michelle met in college at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. They actually met freshman year, but sophomore year Michelle was Austin’s date to a fraternity formal so that Michelle’s best friend didn’t have to go alone. Austin was her best friend’s date’s roommate! It wasn’t until junior year that they started dating officially.
Fast forward to July 2022, where they both spent the day in Newport, RI which is an annual springtime date. Michelle reports that Austin was acting strange and she knew something was up! After lunch they walked along the lawn overlooking the ocean, then Austin got down on one knee and popped the question. When Michelle turned around her sister and her boyfriend jumped out of a bush. Then they all headed back to Austin’s house where both of their families were waiting to celebrate with them. What a perfect day!
I can’t wait until next year so we can celebrate you two!
