Last time I saw Adrianne and Jerry, it was September 2022. I remember the three of us talking about how excited we were for their wedding. As always, the year flew by and yesterday I had the pleasure of capturing their special day.
The wedding took place at Pepperell Cove, a beautiful, coastal venue right on the water in Kittery, Maine. I met Adrianne and the girls as they were getting ready in the bridal suite. Adrianne was glowing! She was so happy, relaxed and ready to celebrate. I noticed right away how close she is to her family and friends- they were genuinely happy and it was displayed throughout the entire day.
Adrianne and Jerry are one of those couples that make shooting a wedding so enjoyable. They joke with you, have fun with the poses and could not have been less stressed despite what an important day it was. Not once were they focused on other people or details around the wedding- they were always focused on one another and present with whatever was going on.
During the ceremony, I believe almost everyone was tearing up at some point. The couple wrote their own vows and they were romantic, sweet but also funny. I don’t think I have ever been a part of a ceremony where there was so much laughter. It could not have been clearer that everyone in that room was obsessed with Adrianne and Jerry. I loved every second of it!
The reception consisted of a delicious vegan dinner (my first vegan meal!) and meaningful speeches done by family and friends. Adrianne and Jerry made the final speech, thanking everyone (many by name) for the love and support they had received individually but also as a couple. Afterwards, with the loudest cheering I have ever heard, the party rushed downstairs to dance the night away.
