The girls made their way to First United Methodist Church by trolley, adding a fun, celebratory touch to the transition. The church itself, a stunning stone building, held deep meaning for Sam’s family, with generations married within its walls. Having his aunt officiate made the ceremony even more personal. The space was filled to the brim with loved ones, creating an energy that was both emotional and deeply connected.
Afterward, guests gathered in the church’s community space for a relaxed soda bar and refreshments before heading back to Dover for the reception at The River Mill at Dover Landing. The night kicked off with lively entrances, followed by a sweet first dance set to music by Taylor Swift. Heartfelt speeches from family and friends added layers of humor and emotion, while personal details, like a signature cocktail sign featuring their cats and a cake topper inspired by their chickens, made the celebration unmistakably theirs.
As the night carried on with dancing, laughter, and the kind of moments you wish you could bottle up, it was clear: this wasn’t just a wedding…it was a true reflection of who Sam and Meghan are together.
