Sunday I had the honor of photographing Chloe and Sam’s wedding. They got married at The Lakehouse in Halifax, MA. This is a newly renovated venue that was absolutely breathtaking! It was a perfect, sunny summer day with bright sun and not too many clouds.
The Lakehouse is a beautiful place right on the lake. There were boats and jet skis zooming by with the sound of summer all around. We also saw two swans swimming together on the lake. It was like a scene from a fairy tale.
Chloe looked absolutely stunning in her two piece dress. They were both so joyful and you could see the love in their eyes throughout the day. I caught them many times holding hands under their sweetheart table during the reception.
The ceremony was full of joy that ended with Sam stomping on glass and the guests shouting “mazel tov!”. There were lots of happy tears and big smiles. After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a fun reception. There was dancing, laughter, and delicious food.
One of the best parts of the day was taking pictures by the lake. The light was perfect. The water reflected the sky, and the temperatures had cooled down a bit. Chloe and Sam were so happy and in love. It made my job easy.
Chloe and Sam are now off to Costa Rica for their honeymoon. I am sure they will have a great time. They deserve all the happiness in the world.
