Jenna and Dave are so friendly, laid back, and approachable. You feel like you’ve known them for years within just minutes of being around them. This was my first time meeting them in person, Zoom definitely doesn’t count, and after the session I feel like we’re old friends! We met on a beautiful spring day in April at one of my favorite places, Strawbery Banke Museum in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire. It was pushing high 60’s and the town was fully awake and bustling with people. It was so refreshing to see everyone out and about!
Jenna and Dave met while attending Westfield State University and they began dating their junior year. Westfield State has such a beautiful campus surrounded by rolling mountains and state forests located in southwest Massachusetts. That was, after all, what drew Jenna there in the first place. What a gorgeous location to start your love story! During our session, Jenna was reminiscing on how Dave first asked her to be his girlfriend. She said that he “proposed” to her with a necklace and said “will you be my girlfriend?”. I’m sorry, but I think that is the most adorable thing I’ve ever heard. So sweet!
Dave never skied before he met Jenna, but Jenna and her family are avid skiers. It is no surprise then that Dave learned how to ski one they met! In November 2019 Dave and Jenna went skiing on Cannon Mountain. Jenna was fixing her boot on top of the mountain and Dave asked if they could snap a photo really quick. They always take a photo on top of the mountain, so Jenna didn’t suspect a thing. He then got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!
Congratulations Jenna and Dave! I’m so excited to celebrate your wedding day with you!
