This Spruce Point Inn Wedding was nothing short of magical. There’s something about a coastal wedding that feels like it belongs in a storybook. Maybe it’s the salty breeze, the sound of waves just beyond the vows, or the way light dances across the water. Hanna and Dalton’s wedding at Spruce Point Inn in Boothbay Harbor had all of that and more.
The day began in the most joy-filled way! Hanna and her bridesmaids, cozy in their matching pajamas, making TikToks, laughing until their cheeks hurt, and soaking in every second of the morning together. It was the kind of start that set the tone for the whole day.
Their first look happened on the pier, with the ocean stretching endlessly behind them. As soon as Dalton turned around, it was like the world quieted. Hanna and Dalton are true “ocean people” through and through—they live in Cape Cod, they love boats, and they’re happiest by the water, so it felt only fitting that the bay was there, bearing witness to their first moments together on their wedding day.
The ceremony was held on a deck overlooking the water, officiated by a close family friend. It was personal and heartfelt, with that perfect mix of laughter and tears. Guests looked out over the harbor as the couple promised forever.
And then afterwards, what a celebration! The reception was alive from the very first song. The dance floor never emptied, laughter spilled out into the night, and every single guest seemed to carry the same joy Hanna and Dalton had been radiating since their first look.
Hanna and Dalton, what an honor it was to be there at your wedding at Spruce Point Inn. Your love story will always remind me why I adore photographing weddings by the water!
