Odiorne Point State Park Engagement | Rye, NH | NH Wedding Photographer | Cassie + James

James and Cassie met online in October 2020 during COVID times. Cassie and James’ first date was at an outdoor restaurant and they really hit it off. Their shared love of the outdoors, adventure, and cycling attracted them to each other.

On their second date they went on a bike ride that lasted 8hrs (and 3 meals) because they were really enjoying getting to know one another. Over the last 2.5 yrs, they have continued to enjoy growing closer while partaking in various adventures and traveling. They have become each other’s best friend and they are excited for what this next stage of life will bring.

James is from Melbourne Australia which Cassie visited for the first time last December. After a few days of spending time with his family, the two of them went on a short trip to a national park where James booked a tiny cabin in the wilderness. Outside there were kangaroos and butterflies all around. They went on a 5 mile hike where at the top, there was a beautiful lookout called “the pinnacle.” Then as they went to the top, James got down on one knee and asked Cassie to marry him!

I cannot wait for this fall at the Hellenic Center to celebrate your love!

Congratulations Cassie and James!
