I had the pleasure of being with Kelsey + Ben on a beautiful, nearly perfect July day to celebrate their love story. Together, along with their family and friends, we gathered in Topsfield, Massachusetts at the beautiful Connemara House Farm. As you pull up to this venue and enter onto the long driveway lined with stone walls, you are engulfed by stunning acres of orchard rows, with views of its charming history everywhere you look. A setting perfect for the two of them.
Despite the hot weather, Kelsey + Ben were as calm and happy and peaceful as I had ever seen. Just excited for their big day to finally have arrived! Ready to be husband and wife. They have known one another since they were young, but most recently began dating a few years ago. Both are New Hampshire natives, and spent many memorable times together near the Lake Sunapee region where their families have some roots. Together they share a yellow lab named Maverick, and live in the beautiful Charlestown, Massachusetts- a charming neighborhood of Boston.
The ceremony was set in front of the orchard, right next to the house, and everything went off without a hitch. Kelsey had the most perfect touches everywhere you looked, from a mirror with their names on it, to unique and custom designed guest place settings, to beverages with names inspired by their dog. They also had the coolest VW bus Mobile bar offering all kinds of drinks to keep everyone cooled down! They even let Kelsey + Ben serve up some drinks of their own for some guests! It was absolutely adorable. They danced their first dance to ‘If you love her’ by Forest Blakk. There was not a dry eye in the room between that and the most heartfelt speeches. Kelsey + Ben has a choreographed first dance that impressed all of us, simply stunning!
Every once in a while you can feel the magic between two people just by being with them. Kelsey + Ben have something very special, and it was apparent to every single one of us there. Honored to have been a part of their wedding day. Wishing them both many happy, healthy, joy filled years ahead.
