Raise your hand if this was the first session where your couple had to pull a tick off of you before the photoshoot began! That’s exactly how Allison and Harrison’s session began at Odiorne Point State Park and honestly, it set the tone for such a relaxed and fun evening together. Despite the unexpected start, we quickly settled into the most beautiful summer night with 80-degree weather, bright sunshine, and the perfect coastal breeze along the ocean.
Allison looked beautiful in a white and blue beach shell dress that fit the coastal setting perfectly, while Harrison kept things classic and timeless in a crisp white button-down and khakis. Their outfits could not have complemented the beach scenery any better.
Since this was their first time having professional photos taken, I wanted the experience to feel natural, comfortable, and fun from the very beginning. It didn’t take long to see just how easy these two are together. Their connection is effortless, fun and genuine.
Their story began on the second-to-last day of high school during their senior year. After a first date spent bowling, they quickly became inseparable. Even while attending different colleges and navigating years of long-distance dating, they continued building the strong relationship they have today. In October, Harrison proposed to Allison at sunrise at Rye Harbor State Park – a moment that feels perfectly fitting for the two of them.
Not only are Allison and Harrison incredibly kind people, but they also dedicate their careers to helping others. Allison works as a nurse at a pediatrician’s office, and Harrison is a physical therapist. Outside of work, they love spending time hiking, going to the beach, and fishing together.
I already know their wedding day is going to be so special, and I cannot wait to celebrate alongside them this August at The Thompson Inn & Cyderhouse while capturing the next chapter of their story.
