Wagon Hill Farm Engagement Session | NH Wedding Photographer

Over my career as a NH Wedding Photographer I have met many couples and what I love the most is that every one of them has such a unique love story. As Maddie, Curtis, and I walked around Wagon Hill Farm for their engagement session we chatted about their love story and it all started back in 7th grade. I told them compared to my personal love story, that is quite a long time! I met these two back in February and as soon as we all sat down for coffee together I knew we were a good fit. They have a great sense of humor (we all love The Office), they love their puppy, and they are willing to let loose and be silly!

Maddie met Curtis through one of her friend’s brother. Totally fate! When she first laid eyes on him she told her friend that “he was fun to look at, like a Lifeguard” (probably the cutest thing I’ve ever heard). The two of them became best friends in high school and even went to prom together. You could tell they are still best friends based on how they are goofy together and can easily make each other laugh. Curtis went to basic training after high school and then during Maddie’s sophomore year of college he professed his love for her! What a story these two will have to tell their future kids one day.

During the engagement shoot we dodged snakes, mice, and thorns…but it was well worth it! That beautiful golden sunset was hitting the tall grass and wildflowers creating a perfect glowy background, jawdropping! It was so sweet to watch Maddie and Curtis interact with each other. As soon as they were within inches of each other’s faces they would start whispering and giggling. SO CUTE!

Maddie and Curtis will be getting married at Powder Major’s Farm next August. A beautiful historic NH barn wedding venue in Madbury New Hampshire. I can’t wait to see their family and friends witness them exchange their vows and dance the night away! I also feel like there will be some epic toasts at this reception given their long history together. Haha!
