I had the absolute joy of capturing Kaitlyn and Anthony’s engagement session at Hampton Beach State Park in Hampton, NH. It was a beautiful spring day, and the sunset was absolutely incredible—creating a perfect setting for this amazing couple’s photos.
Kaitlyn and Anthony’s love story is like a modern fairytale. They first matched online in the fall of 2015 while attending college in Worcester, MA. They texted for months but never went on a date. Fast forward five years, and fate brought them together again online, with Anthony living in New Hampshire and Kaitlyn in Maine. This time, they didn’t let the opportunity pass by.
Their first date was on Friday, March 13, 2020, right before the world shut down due to COVID. They met at The Front Porch in Ogunquit, ME, and spent hours talking, singing along to songs, and having drinks. It was the start of something truly special.
Anthony’s proposal was nothing short of magical. In August 2023, he proposed at the East Point Bird Sanctuary in Biddeford Pool, ME, a spot near Kaitlyn’s grandmother’s house and dear to her heart. They were dropping off food for her grandmother when Anthony popped the question. After the proposal, they celebrated with a toast at her grandmother’s house, followed by a surprise party back at their apartment in Portsmouth with friends.
Their engagement session at Hampton Beach was filled with laughter, love, and the warm glow of the setting sun.
Kaitlyn and Anthony are planning their wedding ceremony at the Langdon House in Portsmouth, NH, and their reception at the Venue at Portwalk Place. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day and capture more of their beautiful journey together. Congratulations, Kaitlyn and Anthony!
