It was extremely windy earlier in the day, gusts up to 30 mph, and it was only 10 degrees above freezing. Spring weather can be so unpredictable, so Arielle, Corey, and I held tight to our plans to get together at the beach. Boy are we so glad that we did! The wind ended up dying down and it warmed up a bit and the day ended with a beautiful sunset!

Arielle and Corey met in high school at Waterville Valley Resort. Both of their parents are avid skiers and owned condos there. Arielle said it was love at first sight, but they didn’t begin dating until college where they both attended, UNH.

After spending the evening celebrating and opening presents with Arielle’s family last Christmas Eve Corey told Arielle that there was one more present for her under the tree. She looked under the tree and didn’t find anything. When she turned around Corey was down on one knee with a ring in his hand and asked her to marry him. What a special and memorable proposal!
