As the sun dipped below the horizon, the beach transformed into a laid-back paradise, where families were digging in the sand, flying kites, and some were even having photoshoots. The weather was cool but comfortable. The water was completely still which created a mirror of the surroundings. I always love shooting in New Castle as it seems to capture the essence of New England.
Tonight, amidst the soft glow of golden hour, I had the privilege of freezing moments of pure love and excitement as I captured an enchanting engagement photoshoot for Kaelen and Adam. They arrived right at sunset, driving all the way from Quincy, Massachusetts.
Kaelen and Adam are a sweet couple, which was evident through their laughter and playful banter. I captured many photos of them holding each other and laughing- it was hard to choose the best ones! They met six years ago, through Bumble, and have been together ever since. At home, they have Kobi, a cattle shepherd mix that they got during COVID. When they are not working, Kaelen as a nurse and Adam as an accountant, they enjoy one another’s company by going on dates to different restaurants.
June 14th, 2025 is the big special day. They will be getting married at Turner Hill, located in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Kaelen shared that they were looking for something that felt elegant and timeless. It seems crazy to think that the wedding is a year away, but every year I talk about how quickly it goes by. Kaelen and Adam, I loved being able to capture your photos tonight…and thanks for teaching me what poison ivy looks like 😉 I look forward to being by your side for the wedding!
