Josh and Alison‘s wedding day was filled with the warmth and comfort of the Christmas season! Their wedding took place just days leading up to Christmas at a magical winter wedding venue! Josh and Alison were married at Birchwood Vineyard in Derry, NH where their friends and family traveled from near and far to celebrate their love!
The sun was bright and air was chilly as the bridesmaids and bride got ready in their Christmas pajamas in the bridal suite at Birchwood Vineyard. Surrounded by her closest family and friends, Alison, dressed in her winter whites and cozy slippers was a picture perfect Christmas bride.
Josh and Alison shared an intimate first look on the steps of the vineyard. Being born and raised in NH, these two (and their entire bridal party) didn’t bat above eye at the 30 degree temps while taking photographs outside! Alison’s bridesmaids all wore different styles of beautiful black dresses, ranging from sparkly to sleeveless, fur shawls to velvet. They looked so classic paired with the groomsmen in their black suits. Allison was an absolute vision in her long sleeve lace dress and shimmering veil.
As guests started arriving, each one commented on the beauty of the venue with its warm fireplaces, twinkle lights and Christmas trees that adorned the reception and ceremony space. With candy canes and ornaments placed at each table setting, Josh and Alison’s guests felt the warmth of the holiday season throughout their entire wedding day.
Josh and Allison shared beautiful vows with one another – both making eachother laugh and cry! As they danced to their first dance to Late to the Party by Kacey Musgraves, their friends and family shed tears and shared big smiles watching these two. Alison’s dad gave the welcome speech as he recounted memories and thanks to all of the friends and family that had travelled to celebrate Alison and Josh’s wedding day. After the toasts and speeches were given, their guests enjoyed their dinner as the bride and groom made it a point to see and greet each and every one of their guests.
Being a Christmastime wedding, Alison and Josh knew they wanted to involve and the spirit of Christmas! What better way than to invite Santa Claus to join in on the fun! As guests started dancing, Santa made an appearance and truly brought smiles to everyone’s faces!
Josh and Alison’s wedding day was one I will remember! It was filled with all things Christmas – the comfort of family, dear friends and a great love for each other to keep warm! Congratulations you two!
