Summer by the water in Portsmouth is always one of my favorites for engagement shoots! I met Alison and Josh at Strawberry Banke in Portsmouth, NH for their engagement session on the most perfect summer night. The sun was warm, there was a slight breeze and live concert music was playing in the background. Alison’s outfit choices were swoon worthy and the two of them caught the eye of many people passing by!
Alison and Josh have known each other since high school but it wasn’t until years later that they reconnected and realized the teenagers who would spend snow days together were made for each other. After being introduced through a mutual friend in high school, this same friend reintroduced Alison and Josh years later and the rest is history! These two were destined for each other. What a perfect coincidence that they grew up spending snow days together and now they will have a winter wedding!
Alison and Josh’s wedding will take place this winter, just a few days before Christmas! Enchanted details and hints of winter will be a part of their decor and details – I can’t wait to see their winter wedding vision come together. I loved photographing these two during one of their favorite seasons but can’t wait to capture their wedding day this December at Birchwoods Vineyards in Derry, NH. It was such a pleasure getting to know Alison and Josh and I am looking forward to their beautiful wedding this winter!
