Some people don’t believe in soulmates. They don’t believe that you can find “the one”. Some people don’t believe in fate.
I’m not one of those people.
All I know is what I’ve experienced, and my husband has been my best friend and other half for the past 12 years (since we met) and I believe! (If you haven’t read our story, start here. )
Soul Mates
I don’t know how you are so familiar to me – or why it
feels less like I am getting to know you and more as though
I am remembering who you are. How every smile, every
whisper brings me closer to the impossible conclusion that
I have known you before, I have loved you before – in
another time, a different place – some other existence.

Ben,
A full decade being your wife. We’ve been writing this adventure book since the day we met and we recently opened a new chapter and I am so excited for what is in store. Each chapter is full of growth, adventure, hilarity, highs, and lows. Looking back to the day we met, and even the day we said our vows… I don’t even recognize those people. We have grown so much individually but also together. We are quite the force to be reckoned with. The best team. Doing life with you is my favorite. Thank you for loving me hard, thank you for pushing me to have big dreams and to chase those dreams, thank you for being a solid rock to lean on, and thank you for being an example of a selfless compassionate man. I love growing old with you.
So let’s raise a glass as the tradition we started in Mexico 10 years ago continues…
3,650 Days
120 Months
2 Children
3 Foster Kids
2 Houses
2 Investment Properties
1 Camper
90,000 Kisses
and 10 Tequila Shots later.
Here’s to us my love!
Amanda
