If you are familiar with New England you know that we have beautiful seasons here, especially the fall. But this summer is unlike one I can ever remember! We have had weeks and weeks of hot, sunny, summer sunshine here and these waterfront weddings are what wedding dreams are made of. Nicole + Matt got married in Boothbay Maine, at the Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa. Think water views, sailboats everywhere, nautical vibes, lots of seafood, and beautiful hydrangeas. This spot holds a special place in Nicole’s heart because she has many childhood memories here participating in the Sailboat Regatta with her dad. He even had his sailboat out in the bay in full view during the ceremony and reception.
The warm summer day began with sunny skies, with loads of friends and family beginning to arrive from more than 13 states. While the boys did some morning golf, the girls got ready at the beautiful Pemaquid Hall. Nicole was a vision with her hair swept back with pearls throughout, while wearing her mothers pearl necklace, and a stunning gown. Once they were ready, Nicole + Matt saw each other for the first time as she walked down the aisle on the Waterfront Deck. They read to each other handwritten vows, and were quite literally smiling the entire ceremony.
They were more than ready to join the party, and enjoy all of their guests as the reception began. These two are each other’s best friend, and it was so sweetly evident the whole day. I was honored to be a part of your day, and wish them many years of health and happiness as they begin their forever today.
