I met Hannah and Jacob at Hampton Beach State Park on a nice, 30 degree, cold, winter day and it was perfect. Despite our purple fingers, we embraced the ocean breeze and chilly temperature with open arms. Hannah and Jacob were the sweetest. They arrived with big smiles on their faces, ready to take their winter jackets off and snap some engagement photos.
Hannah and Jacob met when they were teenagers, at their local church. Hannah says that the first time she saw him was when he was playing the guitar on stage during a service. She immediately had a crush on him after that. Once she was able to work past her shyness, she began talking to them and they became good friends. A few years later, they began dating and have been together ever since. They love to spend time together by watching movies, going out to eat, and attending church activities.
They are currently both working full time within their church. Hannah is the Creative Team Leader and Jacob is Worship Leader. With Jacob’s experience in music, he actually wrote a song for Hannah that he sang to her when he proposed. She had no idea that he was proposing! He had staged a pretend wedding that Hannah thought she was helping photograph. That is when he got down on one knee and popped the question. So thoughtful and cute!
They are getting married at the end of May, in 2023. They are so excited to celebrate their love with their close family and friends; people who have played such important roles in their lives. I had such a great time with them in the cold weather and I cannot wait to shoot their wedding!
