I’m so excited to share Aubrey and Ryan’s beautiful engagement session at Wagon Hill Farm in Durham, NH. It was a beautiful spring day and the incredible sunset made it even more beautiful. Here’s a peek into their sweet love story.
How They Met
Aubrey and Ryan met way back when they were just 14 and 15 years old! Fate brought them together at Point Sebago, Maine, through a mutual family friend. They were both there for a summer weekend, and little did they know they had met the love of their lives.
Originally from the Boston area, Aubrey and Ryan dated for a few years in high school. Living about 1.5 hours apart, their parents would drive them to meet halfway on weekends. After high school, their lives went in different directions for a few years before reconnecting.
Five years later, Aubrey reached out to Ryan for coffee. That simple meeting rekindled their romance, and they realized they were the perfect pair.
The Proposal
Last October, they returned to Point Sebago for a typical family weekend. Ryan wasn’t sure about the timing, but he decided to propose during a walk by the lake. Right on the docks, he got down on one knee and asked Aubrey to marry him. Of course, she said yes! Point Sebago holds a special place in their hearts.
