Follow these 3 easy tips on your next photo session and you will LOVE the way you look when your photos come back!
Tip #1 Go. All. Out.
Do it ! GO. ALL. OUT. We all know that our favorite celebrities and models, despite Beyonce’s claim, did not in fact wake up the way we see them in the pictures. T
hey all have one thing in common, a GLAM SQUAD, and you can have one too! With that being said, my first thing you should do after booking a session is to book a hair and makeup appointment for that day!
Leave the glam up to the professionals and sit back and relax, you deserve it! Most hair salons have appointments specifically for event styles, no cut needed. Also, FUN FACT, did you know you can book a full face makeup appointment at Sephora at no extra cost? All you have to do is spend $50.00 on the products you already buy! What are you waiting for?
Book your appointments and I promise you will feel beautiful and confident which in turn will come across in your photos.
Tip #2 Trust Your Photographer
If you have paid a professional photographer to take your photos, then trust that the photographer has your very best interest at heart! A professional has an eye for what will photograph well and what will look great on camera.
You don’t have to go in blindly if that makes you uncomfortable, feel free to share inspiration and ideas, after all you probably have something in mind! But at the end of the day, trust that your photographer is well trained in not only finding great backgrounds but also hunting down beautiful light that will make your skin look amazing…no Photoshop required!
Also, make sure that you communicate anything that you think your photographer should be aware of. Communication is key! I promise your photographer wants you to love your photos just as much as you do!
Tip #3 Dress to the Nines!
How many occasions do you have in life to get really decked out? Two? Maybe 3? I’m talking DRESSED UP. When else are you going to wear a gown? A suit? Those earrings that just sit in your jewelry box? That expensive watch you’re afraid to wear everyday? Go for it! You will look and feel elegant and later when your photos come back you will be so glad that you went for it.
Some of the best advice is simple. If you follow these 3 tips you will look INCREDIBLE in your photos.
