Something about September weddings that I am just in love with. The air is chilly in the morning but by mid afternoon, with the sun shining, the temperatures are warm and comfortable. Mikayla and Rory’s day was no exception. These two got married at The Envio in downtown Portsmouth, which is just stunning. They shared a sweet first look at the gardens in Prescott Park with family and friends watching from afar. Although the calendar says it is fall, the flowers were still in full bloom! I was impressed with the amount of flowers that were still thriving in the gardens. Mikayla, Rory, and I wondered around the beautiful city a bit after their first look stopping occasionally to take some photos.
At the reception the dance floor was packed, overflowing off of the wooden dance floor area. Mikayla and Rory’s friends and family sure know how to cut a rug! It was such a fun celebration.
I feel so honored that I was there to witness this occasion. I found it incredibly difficult to narrow down images for a blog post, as you will see down below. Oops! Well, enjoy Mikayla and Rory’s wedding day through my eyes!
Congratulations Mikayla & Rory! I am so honored to have been the one to capture your big day! I pray that you two have a long, healthy, and happy marriage!
