It was a warm, breezy, sunny day in Ossipee, New Hampshire. If you have never been to Ossipee, I highly recommend planning a trip to the area. You are surrounded by mountains, water and open skies that show off some amazing sunsets.
Yesterday was my first time meeting Courtney and William and they were lovely. I met Courtney at a beautiful quaint Bed and Breakfast that was two minutes from the ceremony and reception area. Courtney was so welcoming and I could tell that she was a go-with-the-flow kind of girl. She had a fun and friendly group of women supporting her throughout the morning. I knew that it was going to be a wonderful day.
Courtney and William are high school sweethearts. They met while working at the Pizza Barn together and share the same group of friends. This was so evident at their wedding- everyone seemed like family. People were sharing stories of how long they’ve known each other, spending holidays together, and the best man described how he knew the groom, “I mean, we didn’t even really officially meet because we’ve been around each other since we were in diapers.”
The wedding took place in a beautiful open field, owned by William’s grandparents. It is also the same place where William proposed to Courtney. There were many thoughtful details displayed throughout the day. Photos of loved ones, signature drinks, canoes full of beverages, yard games, a photobooth and a food truck! One of my favorite parts of the day though was something I had never seen before. Courtney arrived at the ceremony in a horse carriage. Two beautiful, huge, brown horses pulled a white carriage behind them and brought her to meet her dad. The bridal party also arrived in style- arriving by tractor! It was amazing and it fit the theme of the day so well.
Courtney & William, it was a sweet portrayal and celebration of the love you have for each other and your friends and family. Cheers!
