Where do I even begin! Tonight was one of those evenings when I really had to reign in my urge to say “Oh my gosh you guys are so cute” comments because just wow, these two! Ian + Samantha are the cutest, and sweetest couple ever.
We met up at Prescott Park, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on this beautiful October evening, and to my absolute delight they showed up with their 1 year old golden retriever named Winnie! For those of you who know me, you know these dogs are my favorite thing on earth, and again, this just made it even harder to keep mentioning repetitively how adorable they were! Goodness.
Anyways… so we have established how adorable they are. They also are incredibly smart! Ian works in medical sales, and Samantha is a 4th grade teacher. They both are from New England, and continue to still work in the area.
Ian + Samantha met the summer after Covid, and their first date was to an amazing donut place in Boston. They hit it off right away, and were semi long distance from the start. Ian would drive down to Connecticut where she worked, and then get up early to head to work, and they joked that it was “fake long distance.” Haha. It didn’t take long for these two to take the next step, and while on a trip to Italy, they stopped at an old church on a wine tour in Tuscany. Samantha thought that she was posing for a picture when low and behold Ian was down on one knee. Swoon!
I can not wait to be by their side as they say ‘I do” next August, when we are at Wentworth by the Sea in Rye, New Hampshire. Congratulations again! What a special couple you are.
