Early Fall Portsmouth engagement sessions are always so fun! It is still warm enough to walk around in downtown Portsmouth without a jacket, but by the end of the session, couples are usually ready to cozy up to enjoy dinner and drinks after their shoot!
I met Kaitlin and Alex on the most perfect Fall night. The sun was setting and as I walked up to this adorable couple, Kaitlin’s auburn hair caught the sun in such a way that I knew their session was going to be stunning!
We spent the evening walking around Strawbery Banke and the side streets of Portsmouth. These two were show stoppers as bikers and cars alike cheered them on while admiring the bride and groom to be! We ended the evening in Prescott Park where the flowers are in the most beautiful full bloom this time of year!
Kaitlin and Alex have been planning their wedding for the past two years and are getting married next month right in downtown Portsmouth! Spending the evening with these two, knowing their wedding day is just around the corner made for an even more exciting night as they talked through their wedding plans and details.
Kaitlin and Alex have spent many years vacationing in Maine but would always use Portsmouth as their “pit stop” on their way up the coast. They fell in love with the small city which ultimately led to them wanting to host their family and friends as they celebrate and marry one another! Walking and talking with these two, there was no doubt a special connection that shined through both on and off the camera!
I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day next month! If this session of Kaitlin and Alex is any indication of their wedding day, I am certain it will be the most beautiful, fun and memorable day!
