Wow did we have the most perfect beach evening! If you can believe it, a few hours beforehand there was severe thunderstorms and golf ball sized hail in the area! As soon as we arrived to the beach, the clouds had moved and the sun broke through. It was truly magical!
This beautiful beach night was my first time meeting Sarah and Russell in person. Just from watching the way they interact with each other and how gentle and sweet they are to each other was immediate testament to their love. Sarah and Russell lived 50 miles from each other when they first met. They both drove 25 miles to meet right smack in the middle for their first date. They were planning to go to a casual restaurant together on a Thursday night, but much to their surprise, it was packed. Every restaurant they went to had 2 hour waiting times. They walked down the street to try and find a different place to go. The only place they found with room was The Gaslight. Turns out it was a white tablecloth and waiters with bow ties kind of place. What a super fancy first date!
Russell proposed to Sarah on New Years Eve. He told her to invite some friends over for a little gathering, she suspected nothing. She wasn’t expecting anything but a fun little party with their closest friends. When the party started Russell gave a toast welcoming his friends and then gave a little speech. Soon the attention turned to how he felt about Sarah, and then he asked Sarah to marry him! She said yes of course!
Congratulations Sarah and Russell! I can’t wait to see you again on your wedding day and celebrate with you!
