It is finally May! What a beautiful sunny day May 1st was. Jen, Dan, and I met at Great Island Commons in Newcastle NH and the sun was shining bright and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. We had the whole beach to ourselves too, much to our surprise!
Jen and Dan’s love story is fate at its finest! These two met bar hopping with two totally different friend groups. They were total strangers. Dan ran into Jen and after chatting a little while he asked her for her number. He got in touch with her and asked if she wanted to get together on Veterans day because they both had it off from work. They went to to a local trivia night for their first date. It went well and the rest is history!
Jen and Dan love kayaking on the Charles River. Dan had a secret idea to propose to Jen while kayaking. One day when they were heading out to the river Jen wanted to go in the double kayak but Dan was insistent on going in singles because he had a special plan for how he was going to propose. While they were out he pretended like he was stuck in the weeds and needed her help to get out. When she headed over to help him, he pulled her in and asked her to marry him. So thoughtful!
I can’t wait for next spring! 11 more months!
