Meeting Maggie and Jordan at Great Island Common in Newcastle was nothing short of a joy. It’s one of my favorite places to shoot, its coastal charm and peaceful energy set the perfect stage for their session. The moment they arrived, laughing and posing in their perfectly coordinated outfits, I knew this was going to be a fun one.
Initially, we thought about rescheduling the photoshoot due to weather but thankfully, they made the drive from Londonderry and we ended up having beautiful weather! Right from the start, their comfort with each other was so natural. Maggie and Jordan have an effortless connection that makes photographing them feel less like work and more like hanging out with old friends. They have been together for nearly seven years, having met at the YMCA when they were just 20 and 21. You can feel that foundation in the way they interact: steady, playful, and full of affection.
They shared that they love visiting the beach and spending time with friends, and that energy shines through in the way they laugh together. At home, their two sweet English labs complete their little family, and it’s clear those pups are deeply loved.
Both Maggie and Jordan come from big families, and as the oldest siblings, this wedding is going to be one incredible celebration. While they weren’t initially planning on having a wedding, their moms had other plans, and thankfully so! In May 2026, they’ll be tying the knot in Portsmouth, NH, and if our hour together was any indication, it’s going to be a party for the books.
