It is finally fall ya’ll! The air is cool, especially coming off of the water. The sun was shining through a veil of clouds…the perfect lighting for an engagement session! Kat, Chris, and I met for the very first time at my favorite picturesque spot in downtown Portsmouth, NH.
Although Kat and Chris went to the same high school, they didn’t actually know each other until after they both graduated. They ended up meeting through mutual friends, they were always spending time around the same group of people. One day Chris finally mustered up the courage to ask Kat out on a date. He asked her if she would go to La Festa in Dover with him. (An absolute city gem of a pizza place, my personal favorite). The rest is history!
Chris’ dad passed away when he was a sophomore in high school. His dad used to go to a camp up in Madison every summer and the camp has a float out there on the lake dedicated to him. Chris took Kat up there this summer and asked her to marry him. Such a sweet and special way to ask for her hand!
I can’t wait to celebrate these two next year and witness their wedding! It’ll be here before you know it.
