We officially kicked off our 2025 A Rai wedding season this past weekend and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect couple or day! Just one week prior to Kirstin and John‘s wedding day, most of New England woke up to snow on the ground. Fast forward to their wedding day, we woke up to sunny skies, 70° and a slight breeze! This was just the beginning of the most beautiful day.
Kirstin and John’s story started in middle school where they became friends and after years of true friendship with one another, realized they were soulmates. It’s always so fun to be part of a wedding day where so many people involved and attending have had the privilege of knowing the bride and groom as they grew as a couple!
Kirstin and John’s wedding took place at The Bedford Village Inn in Bedford, New Hampshire. The classic and elegant New England backdrop was the perfect setting for this dapper and classy couple! With black, white and accents of gold woven into their color scheme. Kirstin and John were pure elegance, both inside and out!
Kirstin and John’s wedding parties were made up of many lifelong friends and family members. Jon being a twin and one of three boys and Kirstin being one of eight siblings made for a day filled with so much love and emotion surrounding these two!
One of the most special parts of the day were John and Kirstin’s personal and private vows. I always feel like it is such an honor to get a glimpse into this part of a couple’s wedding day. For Kirstin and John in particular, you could tell this was truly the most important and meaningful part of their day together.
Their wedding ceremony was held outside in the courtyard at the Bedford Village Inn. Before walking down the aisle, Kirstin surprised John, and the entire crowd of wedding guests with a sweet voice recording that played. In it, she reminded John to look around at all of the family and friends who had supported them along the way, to take a deep breath and soak in the magic of their day. There was not a dry eye in the house and this was before Kirstin even made her grand entrance! After a beautiful ceremony, guests mingled and enjoyed cocktail hour outside before heading in to get the party started!
The night opened with fun entrances, beautiful speeches from Kirstin’s dad, John’s brothers and Kirstin’s sister. Soon after, their crowd of wedding guests were ready to party and tear up the dance floor!
It was such a joy to be a part of this couple’s wedding day! I have no doubt that this next chapter is going to be a special one for them as it is clear they have laid the foundation for a beautiful life together. Thank you for letting us be a part of your day, you two! Congratulations!
Caroline
