Claire and Andrew’s wedding at The View at Pepperrell Cove in Kittery, ME was an absolute dream. This was the epitome of a seacoast wedding!
These two got ready for their big day at The Water Street Inn in Kittery and then shared their first look on a pier at Portsmouth’s Prescott Park with the beautiful Memorial Bridge in the background. I just adored spending time with these two. Walking around with them during portrait time reminded me of Claire and Andrew’s engagement session that took place this past fall. After the first look and a few portraits, a friend of theirs showed up at the dock with his boat… this was one of my favorite parts of the day! They were escorted on a beautiful boat across the river, and I got to be lucky enough to join them! There was a much welcomed breeze while we were meandering on the river. As we docked at Pepperrell Cove, Claire and Andrew’s family excitedly met us on the dock! The anticipation was building!
The boat ride was followed by their ceremony and reception at The View at Pepperrell Cove. Pepperrell Cove is a hidden gem. Located in Kittery, Maine, it is an indoor waterfront wedding venue that hosts ceremonies and receptions in the most picturesque location you can imagine.
They shared their vows surrounded by friends and family excited to celebrate their love. This ceremony was touching with many smiles and lots of laughter. The reception was held upstairs, which had an amazing view looking across the cove. During dances and dinner it suddenly began to rain. The humidity of the day broke when it rained and once the rain stopped the air was cool and lightly breezy. It felt amazing! The clouds began to break up and we ended up having the most breathtaking firey sunset! Claire, Andrew, and I ran outside to grab some beautiful sunset portraits on the dock.
I can’t imagine a more perfect day! The atmosphere was one of pure joy from beginning to end and you could feel the love.
Congratulations Claire & Andrew! You two are so much fun to be around and I pray that you have a long and happy marriage, always making each other laugh!
