There’s something so special about an October wedding, and Brie and Jay’s day couldn’t have been more perfect. With the crisp fall weather, colorful leaves falling around them, and a beautiful space filled with thoughtful details, the setting felt straight out of a storybook. But what made this day truly unforgettable was the love surrounding these two.
Brie and Jay have been together for quite some time, and their wedding was a long-awaited celebration of a love they both knew was worth making official. From the moment the ceremony began, there were happy tears, laughter, and so many meaningful moments. Brie didn’t just make vows to Jay; she also made promises to his two daughters, celebrating the special bond they’ve built together. And in true Brie fashion, she even had a little dust to brush off her vows during the ceremony! It was such a funny, unexpected moment that made everyone smile. Their relationship has come a long way, and seeing the family they’ve become was truly heartwarming.
Family meant everything to Brie and Jay, and they made sure their loved ones were part of every moment. Whether it was capturing family photos, sharing emotional speeches, or watching Jay tear up as he listened to his wife and daughters, you could feel how much everyone meant to them. And once the wedding festivities were over, Brie had one last funny moment: handing back her dad and stepdad’s credit cards! After all the planning and celebrating, it was time to return them!
Jay’s love for Jiu-Jitsu was woven throughout the day, from having his coach officiate the ceremony to their Jiu-Jitsu-inspired cake topper. Jay is a black belt, and with a few other black belts in the room, everyone knew this was not the group you wanted to pick a fight with! Behind all that strength, though, Jay is a quiet, humble guy with a huge heart for his family and his Jiu-Jitsu team.
And one of my favorite personal touches? Wedding favors featuring condiments, a nod to how Jay fell for Brie when her fridge contained little more than condiments, beer, and cheese! It was such a fun detail that perfectly captured their personalities.
When it came time for their first dance, Brie and Jay didn’t need a choreographed routine. They moved together effortlessly, simply feeling the music and enjoying the moment. The dance floor stayed lively, with an energetic bridal party, plenty of laughs, and even board games for guests who wanted a break from dancing.
