Some wedding days are simply made for late summer. Warm sunshine, sparkling water, boats in the marina, and a beautiful coastal setting made Paige and James‘ wedding at Wentworth by the Sea Country Club one to remember.
The day began at Wentworth by the Sea, where Paige and James got ready separately. Paige spent the morning down by the marina while James prepared in the historic hotel. Their first look took place on the marina overlooking the boats, giving them a quiet moment together before the excitement of the day really began.
From there, we headed to Wentworth by the Sea Country Club for their waterfront ceremony. It was a gorgeous, sunny and warm late-August day, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. With the water as their backdrop, Paige and James exchanged vows surrounded by the people they love most.
The reception took place inside a beautifully decorated white tent, where every detail had been thoughtfully chosen and perfectly placed. The entire space felt elegant, intentional, and completely Paige and James.
One of my favorite moments of the day was their first dance. These two didn’t just show up and wing it, oh no, they took five dance lessons together to prepare! Their dance was perfectly rehearsed, and it was so much fun watching them confidently take the floor and enjoy a moment they’d clearly put so much thought into.
As the sun began to set, we hopped into a golf cart and headed down to the water for a few more portraits. The soft evening light and waterfront setting created the perfect opportunity to sneak away from the reception for a few more quiet moments together.
When we returned, Paige changed into a gorgeous after-party dress, ready to dance the rest of the night away. And eventually, the celebration came to a close with a sparkler send-off surrounded by their friends and family.
Paige and James, your wedding day was such a joy to photograph. From your marina first look to your perfectly choreographed first dance and those beautiful sunset portraits, every part of the day felt so intentional and full of love.
