Maggie and Jordan’s wedding day in downtown Portsmouth was the perfect blend of elegance, emotion, and celebration from beginning to end. Their day started at the beautiful AC Hotel Portsmouth Downtown/Waterfront, where Maggie spent the morning getting ready surrounded by her bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law. The room was filled with laughter, conversation, and the sound of everyone enjoying such a special morning together. The girls wore the cutest matching blue and white seashell pajamas, while Maggie stood out in soft light blue jammies and the mothers coordinated in navy blue. Between hair appointments, makeup touch-ups, and sipping mimosas, everyone was simply soaking in every moment together. At one point, Maggie’s mom mentioned that she had never seen Maggie so calm and relaxed, which made the atmosphere feel even more special and meaningful.
Once everyone was ready, the group boarded the signature white trolley and made their way through downtown Portsmouth to the stunning South Church. With its towering gray columns and iconic red doors, the historic church created such a timeless setting for their ceremony. As guests arrived, they were welcomed by the sound of live bagpipes playing outside the church- such a memorable and heartfelt touch. Friends of Maggie and Jordan greeted guests and handed out programs while everyone settled into their seats for the ceremony.
The ceremony itself was short, sweet, and incredibly emotional. Jordan became teary almost immediately as the ceremony began, and once Maggie joined him at the altar, the emotions only continued to grow. Standing together beneath the beautiful architecture of the church, they exchanged vows while family and friends laughed, cried, and shared in every meaningful moment. Maggie looked absolutely stunning in her gown, especially with the dramatic train that flowed beautifully behind her, while Jordan looked sharp in a gray tux paired with a blue tie.
Immediately following the ceremony, Maggie and Jordan shared a really unique moment together when they were able to ring the church bells before exiting the church. It was such a cool moment to capture and made their ceremony feel even more memorable and personal.
Afterward, everyone piled back onto the trolley and headed to Four Tree Island for portraits overlooking the water. With boats drifting in the harbor and the iconic Memorial Bridge in the background, it created the perfect coastal New Hampshire setting for husband and wife portraits. The trolley ride there felt like its own celebration- full of singing, laughter, champagne, and non stop excitement. It was the perfect preview of the energy that would carry into the reception later that evening.
Back at the Envio, guests enjoyed cocktail hour before settling in for a night full of heartfelt speeches, emotional parent dances, and so much time spent celebrating together. One of the most special parts of the entire day was seeing just how family-oriented everything was. Maggie and Jordan both come from very large families, and it was incredibly meaningful to witness so many loved ones travel from near and far to celebrate them. Every detail throughout the day felt intentional and thoughtfully planned around the people who matter most to them.
It truly meant so much to me to be able to capture such an important day for Maggie and Jordan. Their wedding was full of love, emotion, joy, and genuine connection, and I wish them nothing but a future filled with happiness, celebration, and endless love together.
